Myearlyeducationwasreceivedinmyhometown,i.e.sixyearsirimaryschoolandthreeyearsinjuniormiddleschool.Aftercompletingnineyearsofformaleducationin1958.IwenttoXiamenandparticipatedinthejointentranceexaminationforfive-yearjuniorcolleges.Fortunately,IwasadmittedtotheDepartmentofElectricalEngineeringatXiamenJuniorEngineeringCollege.IchoseElectricalEngineeringasmymajorbecause,ontheonehand,IlikedPhysicsverymuch;andontheotherhand,electricalindustryisamajorsectoroftheeconomyofChina.
ThefiveyearsofinteivetrainingcametoanendinJune1978whenIreceivedadiploma.AndinJuly1980.IwashiredbyNanYaplasticCompanyandhaveservedasajuniorelectricalengineeratthecompanytothepresent.Ienjoytheworkandfeelcompetentforthejob.
Inworking,however,I\'veFoundthatwhatIhavelearnedichoolislimitedandfarfromsufficienttohandlesophisticatedjo.Therefore,IhavedecidedtoextendmyeducationandwouldliketoenteranAmericanititutionfirstlytoearnaBachelor\'sdegreeinElectricalEngineering.Then,ifpoible,IwouldliketocontinuemyeducationtowardaMaster\'sdegree.
Afterthisobjectiveisreached,Iwillreturntomycountryandseekajobinapublicfirm.MostprobablyIwillcontinuetoworkwithNanYaPlasticCompany.
