ThegovernmentandpeopleofChinahavealwaysadmiredthepurposesandprinciplesoftheOlympicspiritandsupportedtheeffortsmadebytheOlympicsinpromotingworldpeace.TheChinesegovernmentandpeoplearedoingourutmostinpreparationforthe2008OlympicsinBeijing.ItisourhopetomakeitagrandgatheringthatwillcarryforwardtheOlympicspirit,promoteworldpeaceandenhancethefriendshipamongpeopleoftheworld,sothattheOlympicspiritwillflourishonceagain,thistimeinChina,anorientalcountrywithanancientcivilization.
