点拨诱导启发激励一开展课外英语写作活动

英语教学大纲规定高中毕业学生达到“能在学过的题材和语言范围内写短文和书信，意思连贯，拼写正确，语法用词、标点和格式基本正确”。为此，我们在高三复习的同时开展了课外英语写作活动。以写作来促进语法、词汇和句型的复习。通过点拨、诱导、启发使学生克服了对英语写作的畏难情绪，激发成功的乐趣和提高了表达能力。以写气候为例。

一、提供范文

活动一开始，我们以BookⅡ(J.)第十五课课文The Seasons为作文的范文，先让学生阅读模仿，然后两人一组用完整句子回答理解题。

二、归纳词语

范文中往往有大量的词汇和词语要求学生归纳整理。学生板书所学有关气候的词汇和短语。

学生在根据提纲作文时需要一些能表达自己思想的词语。教师有意识地补充扩大有关天气的词语。诸如：

Heis a fair-weather friend.

She is a rough-weather friend.

Someone is as fickle as the weather.

Everybody talks about the weather,but no body do esany thing about it.

我们还选抄了一首小诗，让他们朗读。

Somedays are nice and sunny,

Sunny and bright and hot.

Sometimes so cold and cloudy!

The Weather in Our City

There are four seasons in ou rcity.The names of the seasons are winter

spring,summer and autumn.In the winter it is cold and windy,and in the summer it is very bright and hot.The weather in the spring and autumn,however,is very pleasant.It is neither too hot nor too cold.People enjoy the autumn moon and the spring breeze.One thing is certain about the weather.It never stays the same.Whether we like it or not,it is very changeable.
